We’ve been on an unofficial hiatus for most of 2019 but stay tuned new posts are coming!

As a stationery lover, I was super excited for this month's Birchbox. They partnered with Rifle Paper Co. to debut their new spring designs on the April box. Since I am a hoarder, I already made this box into the new home for my nail polish collection. I love the romantic, delicate vibe of Rifle Paper Co and I can't wait until I'm bougie enough for all of my stationery to come from this brand! :P

This is my 4th Birchbox and I definitely have to say, it is hit or miss. Interestingly enough, it has been a hit during the even months (February & April) and a miss during the odd months (January & March). Y'all know I hate those odd-numbered months! Let's take a peek inside and see how I fared for April.

NAOBAY Mattifying Cream

I am always thrilled to receive moisturizer. I haven't had to buy moisturizer in so long because I have been living off of samples! It is incredible and lazy at the same time. My face is almost always an oil slick. This mattifying cream is moisturizing and also prevents excess oil buildup. It has definitely helped smooth out my chin zone, which I have been having major problems with. Naobay is an eco-concious family owned brand hailing from Spain. There is truly nothing better than sustainable skincare!

COASTAL SCENTS Social Eyes Shadow Sampler

Unfortunately, this has to be my least favorite product in the box. First of all, I never wear these color eyeshadows. I typically have dark circles under my eyes (even with concealer) and the smoky, metallic look just has never worked for me. Maybe I'm just applying it wrong? I lightly dusted the dark silver shade and wore it with light mascara and a baby pink lip. I just felt like a raccoon all night. Not my vibe, but it could be yours!

TOCCA Eau de Parfum, Florence

I was over the moon to receive this perfume sample of Florence, as that is my new baby niece's name! It is fruity with notes of grapefruit and bergamot, with touches of floral jasmine and blue iris. It lasts all day and I am down for that; a great scent for April! I enjoyed it so much that I went ahead and bought the hand lotion.

BURT'S BEES Tinted Lip Balm in Red Dahlia

Winter 2015 did a number on my lips and I was so happy to see this tinted lip balm in my box! I am a huge fan of Burt's Bees, even after they went corpo. The tint on this balm is perfect for the days when I want to add a little bit of color to my face, without committing to a lipstick shade. Plus, I know my lips are getting much needed moisture from botanical waxes and shea butter. More importantly, I HAVEN'T LOST THIS YET!

BRIOGEO Don't Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Mask

Unless Adam is sending me haircare products, I rarely purchase any. (Oops!) This deep conditioning mask could not have come at a better time! I just colored my hair and I definitely wanted to give my locks some extra TLC. Formulated with avocado, almond, and argan oils, this mask gives tresses a new life by hydrating and repairing dry hair. Just a few days after my color treatment, I ran out of conditioner and this totally saved me! I was literally squeezing every last morsel out of this sample because I am guilty of overindulging. Sorry 'bout it!

What was in your April Birchbox? Did we receive any of the same products?? I wanna know what you got!!
