We’ve been on an unofficial hiatus for most of 2019 but stay tuned new posts are coming!

For many years, I believed that my superpower was surviving on little-to-no sleep. I'm over that phase of life. I have since become very serious about my shut eye ever since realizing that it is the key to slowing down the anti-aging process. (Hydration is pretty essential too).  These days, it is no secret that I love indulge in beauty sleep. I love to honor my body and my brain with the much needed rest they deserve. This is also my favorite time to indulge my skin in products that are going to be doing work while I catch some Zs.

Peep out some of my fave nighttime products!

*These products are geared to my Judys who are looking to slow down signs of anti-aging. You can never be too young to start the process!*

1. Dr. Brandt Skincare; Do Not Age Dream Night Cream

I received a sample of this cream with a Sephora order and I tried to make it last as long as possible. Rich in vitamins and amino acids, thanks to Tahitian black pearl extract; this night cream is truly a dream. The addition of Resurrection plants provides intense hydration. I can't wait to be rich one day, so that I can splurge on decadent night creams. Until then, I will savor every sample.

2. Korres Black Pine Firming, Lifting, and Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream

I have been drawn to this line for many reasons. #1. Design. #2. Black Pine. After a week of using this night cream, my skin felt firm and I knew my collagen production was on fuego. However, the scent was a total buzzkill for me. It wasn't the rich, woodsy pine that I so desired. It was super fragrant and floral. Eventually, I pawned it off on my man who I convinced needed to begin taking care of his (slowly) aging skin.

3. Korres Wild Rose + Vitamin C Advancing Brightening Sleeping Facial

This brightening facial is more of my speed and scent. For years, I disliked the idea of 'brightening'. In Southeast Asia, the whitening of skin is encouraged in beauty products. However, I have learned that 'brightening' can also mean evening out skin tones and improving dark spots. My skin feels delicate and radiant after I use this sleep mask.

4. Ole Henriksen Invigorating Night Treatment

Most products claim to be invigorating, but are they for real? Ole Henriksen night cream is true to its claim. 12 source AHA complex uses glycolic, lactic, and citric acids to amp up cell turnover while algae extract nourishes and hydrates the skin. Wake up to renewed skin cells and total exhilaration.

5. Peter Thomas Roth Camu Camu Power Cx30 Brightening Sleeping Mask

My boo always says that my face smells like maple syrup when I put this mask on. I also believe that it gives me a slight tan. I was lucky enough to receive this bottle as a hand-me down from Christina at Tiramisu for Breakfast! A night mask is truly the gift that keeps on giving. I believe that Vitamin C is going to keep me young forever, so I slather my face in this mask about twice a week. Of course I use my Camu Camu Brightening Serum on the regular as well.

6. SkinINC Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask

I would definitely say that a huge reason that I love sleep treatments is because I don't have to wash them off! I tried this transparent gel mask and loved that it gave you the option to sleep in or rinse off. I definitely woke up with little mask particles on my face, but it was no biggie. This potent mask features hydraulonic acid, soya bean extract, and Okinawa deepsea water for three times the nutrients. Hydrating masks are especially my favorite after a night of drinking. ;)

7. Vichy LiftActiv Night

Hands down, this is my shit; #1 Night Cream right here! This is a must-have on my bedside table. The obvious selling point for me is the mirror on top of the lid. I have been known to apply this with half-shut eyes. For the past six months, this night cream has kept my skin firm and hydrated. Rhamnose is a main ingredient, a naturally derived plant-sugar that fights the signs of aging. I have noticed a significant change in the wrinkles around my mouth, which are of course, my number one enemy. There is a subtle hint of fragrance that I love.

Guilty Pleasure:

8. Bath & Body Works Lavender Chamomile Aromatherapy Body Lotion

Look, no shade but I don't really shop at Bath & Body Works. I find their products to be overly fragrant and you have all learned by the end of this post, that's not my vibe. However, I received a couple of gift cards for Christmas and there is no better way to cure a shopping itch than with free money. I was directed to the aromatherapy section because I assume it is a little more natural than say, Country Chic shower gel (no shade). I like to shower at night, so I was drawn to this sleep enhancing aromatherapy lotion. The scent is still a wee bit peculiar, but it gets the job done! We also indulged in Eucalyptus Spearmint body wash, hehe.

How can I talk about a night time routine without eye cream? Stay tuned for my next blog post!
